Kitchen Administrator
She/he reports to the Cluster Executive Chef
This role is suited to a person that is well organized, enthusiastic and professional. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to the success of this role.
It is NOT necessary to have experience within a Catering/Hotel/Restaurant/Kitchen environment.
The main responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):-
? Perform the administration functions of the kitchen ordering process; kitchen reporting; key in required items for purchasing purposes
? Ensure kitchen crews are following the processes
? Be the central point of communication for the kitchen crews including upcoming events, management information, deadlines, changes to process etc.
? Assist the Cluster Executive Chef with tasks including paperwork e.g. typing up recipes, new catering items etc. Ensure these are done timely and efficiently and distribute correctly to concerned Kitchens/Department(s)/and/or person in charge of concerned section(s).
? Ensure kitchen deadlines are met, liaise with appropriate kitchen crews to action tasks
? Assisting when required with deliveries, performing stock takes etc.
? Keeping offices clean and tidy
? Answering phones for general enquiries
? Administer and follow-up attendance records of kitchen crews. Correct attendance records must be submitted to HR Officer-Time Attendance on 20th of every month for payroll purpose.
? Submit Staff Canteen menu on 20th of every month.
? Other administrative duties as required
The person appointed to this role will be required to have the following skills:-
? Be IT literate, with good experience of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel and Word
? Previous experience of administrative roles
